Two-Point Perspective Architecture
This project started out with a study of two-point perspective, which means that any point on the building can connect to the same two points. The sketch of the building was first done in pencil on a first draft, and then copied onto a second draft and outlined in permanent marker. This sketch was based on Romanesque and Gothic architecture in past historical eras and periods in time. Details such as crosses, pointed arches, and stained glass windows are some of the characteristics of these two styles. The two points in this drawing were the points at the ends of the path in front of the building.
